Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Boros Voltron and Aggro-Stax list led by Lightning, Army of One. The main game plan establishes Lightning on Turn 2 or 3, equips her with lethal combat enhancers like Caduceus, Staff of Hermes, Embercleave, or Super-Soldier Serum, and attacks to trigger Stagger. Stagger doubles all damage dealt to that player until your next turn, turning regular attacks into swift commander-damage knockouts. To protect this linear aggressive plan, the deck runs a powerful suite of proactive hatebears and silence effects including Grand Abolisher, Drannith Magistrate, and Voice of Victory, backed by free defensive spells like Deflecting Swat and Flawless Maneuver. With comprehensive equipment tutoring, the deck maintains high consistency across games, systematically eliminating opponents one by one while keeping enemy interaction strictly suppressed on your turn.
