Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is led by The Great Goblin, combining traditional Goblin tribal aggression with Amass and Aristocrat mechanics. The primary strategy revolves around placing +1/+1 counters on Goblins, Orcs, and Armies to trigger the commander's repeatable 2-damage burn while turning every creature death into impulsive card advantage. The deck ramps efficiently through low-CMC artifacts and explosive rituals like Brightstone Ritual and Skirk Prospector. On Turn 4, it deploys key engine components such as Uglúk of the White Hand, Pashalik Mons, or March from the Black Gate, pivoting on Turn 5 into a lethal threat state powered by Krenko, Mob Boss, Purphoros, God of the Forge, or General Kreat, the Boltbringer. Opponents face continuous life drain from token creation and sacrifice outlets like Goblin Bombardment and Sling-Gang Lieutenant. With rich creature tutoring, resilience via Underworld Breach, and protection from Hexing Squelcher, the deck consistently closes games by Turn 6.
