Level Up Combo by farby

Format: Commander

Commander: Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Mazirek turns every sacrifice into a board-wide pump, but the deck's real plan is combo/aristocrats. It uses Ashnod's Altar with Pitiless Plunderer and Reassembling Skeleton for infinite death and mana, or Scurry Oak plus Ivy Lane Denizen for infinite squirrels, then converts those into life loss with Blood Artist or Mirkwood Bats. A lands-matter shell (Ba Sing Se, Field of the Dead, The Gitrog Monster, Life from the Loam) provides draw, extra land plays, and animated land fodder. There is no true hidden commander; The Gitrog Monster and Jarad act as secondary engines while Mazirek remains a payoff rather than a required combo piece.
