Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mardu Vampire tribal and aristocrats strategy led by Edgar Markov. Leveraging the Eminence ability from the command zone, every Vampire spell cast creates an additional 1/1 black Vampire creature token. The deck curves low-cost Vampires into aggressive board states, pumping them with lords like Captivating Vampire and Cordial Vampire, or weaponizing their deaths with aristocrat staples like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Dictate of Erebos. The deck also includes an infinite life-drain win condition in Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Due to a low land count of 27 lands and minimal ramp, the deck operates best as a fast aggressive swarm deck rather than casting its high-CMC spells early.
