Smaug the Horder by FaithfulFailure

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Mono-red Smaug is a Treasure-hoard combo deck that uses the commander's haste and upkeep Treasure to build a fast artifact economy. It accelerates with rituals, Moxen, Sol Ring, and Treasure generators, then converts that mana into either a Dualcaster Mage + Molten Duplication infinite-token kill or extra-combat loops with Aggravated Assault/Hellkite Charger + Sword of Feast and Famine. Smaug doubles as an attack-based removal spell, sniping planeswalkers or players for each Treasure. Magda is an unofficial second commander who tutors Dragons and artifacts; Hellkite Tyrant provides an alternate twenty-artifact win. The primary plan wins through combat or infinite tokens; the commander is valuable but not required.
