Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir tempo and burn strategy led by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary game plan focuses on deploying cheap, unblockable creatures on early turns, then activating Commander Ninjutsu to cheat Yuriko and other Ninjas into play tapped and attacking. When Ninjas deal combat damage to players, Yuriko reveals the top card of the library, puts it into hand, and drains each opponent for life equal to its mana value. By utilizing efficient top-deck manipulation cards like Brainstorm, Sensei's Divining Top, Mystical Tutor, and Vampiric Tutor, the deck sets up massive global life loss with high-mana cards such as Shadow of Mortality, Temporal Trespass, and Dig Through Time. Because Commander Ninjutsu is an activated ability that ignores the commander tax and bypasses standard counterspells, the deck maintains relentless tempo and card advantage, swiftly overwhelming all three opponents simultaneously through unblockable combat triggers.
