Deck overview

This deck is a Jund Aristocrats and Token Attrition strategy commanded by Xira, the Golden Sting. It focuses on generating recurring 1/1 Insect tokens and Food/Treasure artifacts through combat egg triggers, token multipliers, and forced sacrifice engines. Early turns establish mana fixing and engine pieces like Survival of the Fittest, Sylvan Library, and Skullclamp. Once Xira attacks, egg counters turn creature deaths into steady card draw and evasive token swarms. The mid-to-late game converts these expendable permanents into massive resource swings using Dictate of Erebos for asymmetric creature suppression and Ygra, Eater of All or Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest for board scaling. Victory is achieved either by burning out the table with Purphoros, God of the Forge, Mirkwood Bats, and Mayhem Devil, overwhelming opponents with high-stature tokens via March of the World Ooze, or executing an instant-kill two-card combo with Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond.
