Format: Commander

Commander: Plagon, Lord of the Beach

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Plagon, Lord of the Beach helms an Azorius combo-control strategy centered on high-toughness creatures, blink synergies, and rapid spell-based loops. Plagon enters to refill your hand based on high-toughness blockers, maintaining card advantage while you assemble game-ending pieces. The deck wins primarily through infinite loops using Valley Floodcaller with Retraction Helix and zero-cost artifacts, or Naru Meha, Master Wizard copying single-mana blink spells. These engines produce infinite enters-the-battlefield triggers, storm, and mana to win via Altar of the Brood or Thassa's Oracle. Alternatively, a pumped team powered by Moonshaker Cavalry or Plagon's toughness-to-damage ability provides a lethal combat finish.
