Deck overview

This deck is a go-wide Selesnya artifact token strategy commanded by Shuri, the Black Panther. The primary game plan focuses on deploying cheap artifacts, artifact lands, and token generators in the opening turns to quickly enable Shuri's combat triggers. Once you control three artifacts, Shuri draws a card on each attack; reaching six artifacts transforms her into a repeatable team-wide +2/+2 anthem. The deck amplifies this game plan using token doublers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Anointed Procession, alongside potent scaling threats like Illustrious Wanderglyph, Thousand Moons Smithy, and Displaced Dinosaurs. While the list runs an exceptional defensive suite of phase-out and indestructible spells to protect its board, its reactive interaction is heavily skewed toward sorcery-speed sweepers rather than instant spot removal. It consistently threatens lethal combat damage across the table by Turn 7.
