Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf tribal blight deck helmed by High Perfect Morcant. Every Elf that enters forces each opponent to blight 1, seeding their boards with -1/-1 counters, while Morcant's tap-three-Elves ability proliferates those counters (and any poison, loyalty, or +1/+1s you care about). The 99 backs this up with classic Elfball ramp and lords, token makers, wither payoffs like Massacre Girl, Known Killer and Necroskitter, and the engine pair Blowfly Infestation + Flourishing Defenses that turns a single -1/-1 into infinite Elf tokens and death triggers. Primary wins are wide lethal combat under anthems, table-wide drains from Poison-Tip Archer, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, and Lathril, Blade of the Elves, and opportunistic poison via Vraska, Betrayal's Sting and proliferate. The deck plays as a midrange swarm that starves opposing boards while snowballing its own.
