Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger burn deck led by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied. The game plan combines low-mana Wizard creatures and token generators with a dense suite of noncreature spells. As Kuja enters, it generates Wizard tokens that double as spell-triggered burn sources. Once four Wizards are assembled, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling all damage dealt by your Wizards. Alongside payoffs like Guttersnipe, Black Waltz No. 3, and Coruscation Mage, every cheap instant, sorcery, or artifact cast unleashes widespread damage across all three opponents. The deck aims to assemble its core board by Turn 5 and aggressively drain the table between Turns 6 and 8. It relies on creature-based interaction, damage doublers, and steady card filtering, while balancing inherent vulnerabilities to board sweepers and limited stack protection.
