Deck overview

This deck is an Esper token swarm strategy commanded by Marneus Calgar. It leverages cheap artifact ramp to deploy Marneus early, turning every subsequent token creation into steady card draw. The deck floods the battlefield using versatile token generators like Company Commander, Inquisitor Greyfax, and Deploy to the Front. It converts wide boards into decisive victories through combat anthems and drain effects, most notably Commissar Severina Raine, Thunderhawk Gunship, and For the Emperor!. While it lacks infinite combos or unconditional tutors, its sheer draw velocity and asymmetric sweepers like Hour of Reckoning give it resilience and relentless mid-game momentum.
