The cooler Daniel

Format: Commander

Commander: Silverquill, the Disputant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Orzhov token-and-casualty deck built around Silverquill, the Disputant. Every instant and sorcery in the deck effectively gains a copy effect when the pilot can sacrifice a power-1+ creature, so the entire 99 is warped around token generation, sacrifice outlets, and spells worth copying. Skrelv's Hive, Ophiomancer, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Secure the Wastes feed the casualty cost, while Culling the Weak, Cabal Ritual, and Bolas's Citadel turn that copy ability into explosive mana. Primary wins are copied X-spells like Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, and Debt to the Deathless, backed by token-combat payoffs in Divine Visitation, Exalted Sunborn, and Teysa Karlov. Drain engines such as Sanguine Bond, Cruel Celebrant, and Syr Konrad, the Grim provide reach that bypasses combat. The commander is the engine, but the deck retains a functional midrange aristocrat plan if he is answered.
