Deck overview

This Rakdos deck centers on Laughing Jasper Flint, leveraging a high density of Outlaws (Assassins, Mercenaries, Pirates, Rogues, and Warlocks) to exile and cast cards from opponents' libraries. The deck curves aggressively in the early turns with low-cost threats like Forsaken Miner, Gev, Scaled Scorch, and Dauthi Voidwalker, establishing board presence before deploying Jasper on Turn 3. Each subsequent upkeep scales card advantage based on outlaw count, allowing you to weaponize opponents' decks against them. Midgame anchors such as Gisa, the Hellraiser, Rakdos, the Muscle, and Hellspur Posse Boss widen the board with tokens and grant powerful combat keywords. While the strategy generates relentless value and steady combat pressure, its heavy reliance on creature permanents makes it vulnerable to sweepers and spot removal, requiring proactive sequencing to close games across multiple combat steps.
