Deck overview

This deck is an Esper combat midrange deck commanded by Raffine, Scheming Seer. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost evasive creatures early, casting Raffine on curve, and attacking with multiple creatures to trigger large Connive triggers. Conniving draws and discards cards while placing +1/+1 counters on attacking threats, rapidly growing Raffine into a potent flying commander damage clock. The heavy looting fills the graveyard for reanimation effects such as Reanimate and Sevinne's Reclamation while triggering secondary payoffs like Psychic Corrosion, Psychosis Crawler, Faith of the Devoted, and Drake Haven. The deck maintains table safety through efficient interaction, counterspells, and target protection like Slip Out the Back and Sheltered by Ghosts, closing games through combined commander damage and multi-opponent life drain.
