Deck overview

This Esper deck leverages partner commanders Ghost of Ramirez DePietro and Ravos, Soultender to execute a dedicated Spirit tribal self-mill and mass reanimation strategy. In the opening turns, the deck deploys low-cost mana acceleration, looters, and surveil spells to fill the graveyard while maintaining steady card advantage through commander triggers. The central setup involves resolving Iname, Death Aspect, Mirror-Mad Phantasm, or Traumatize to load the graveyard with a critical density of Spirits. The deck then casts a mass reanimation sorcery such as Patriarch's Bidding, Living Death, Haunting Voyage, or Storm of Souls to return an overwhelming flying army featuring Drogskol Captain, Kira, Great Glass-Spinner, Selfless Spirit, and Drogskol Reinforcements. While lacking native haste, the assembled board's built-in hexproof and indestructible effects shield it through one opponent turn cycle before swinging across all three opponents for lethal combat damage.
