Deck overview

This Grixis deck operates as a hybrid Aristocrats and Threaten-style attrition engine helmed by Edea, Possessed Sorceress. In the early turns, it establishes mana velocity with 2-CMC rocks and deploys low-cost sacrifice fodder like Bitterblossom and Forsaken Miner. Once a sacrifice outlet such as Warren Soultrader or Phyrexian Altar is online, Edea turns every combat into repeatable creature removal, card advantage, and lifegain triggers by stealing opposing threats, sacrificing them, and drawing cards upon their return. The deck can grind opponents down through asymmetric attrition pieces like Grave Pact and Mayhem Devil, or execute a fast table kill via deterministic loops with Forsaken Miner and a drain payoff like Blood Artist. Dense reanimation and tutor packages provide outstanding resilience and consistency against table disruption.
