Commander: Ygra, Eater of All

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ygra, Eater of All is the sole commander and the engine of a Golgari Food-token deck. The deck accelerates with one-mana dorks and Sol Ring, casts Ygra by turn four, then turns every creature into a Food. Token makers such as Grave Titan, Ant Queen, Avenger of Zendikar, and Army of the Damned become sacrificial fuel: each Food that dies gives Ygra two +1/+1 counters for a commander-damage kill, usually delivered unblockable through Rogue's Passage. Secondary paths include a wide token beatdown and life-drain via Professor Dellian Fel's emblem; Skithiryx offers a poison clock. Ikra Shidiqi appears in the 99 as a value piece, not a hidden commander. Peregrin Took doubles the Food output.
