Squirrels by hdanner

Format: Commander

Commander: Chatterfang, Squirrel General

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Chatterfang is a token multiplier and sacrifice outlet who makes every Squirrel count twice. The deck aims to land him early, produce Squirrels with Squirrel Nest, Deep Forest Hermit, or Scurry Oak, then convert those tokens into mana and drain through Zulaport Cutthroat, Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, or Mirkwood Bats. The clearest win is the Scurry Oak + Ivy Lane Denizen infinite Squirrel loop, which can feed Chatterfang's sacrifice ability or set up a Craterhoof Behemoth combat swing. Secondary beats use Beastmaster Ascension and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl to snowball. It is a moderately fast combo/token deck that can rebuild after wipes but has little stack interaction.
