Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls by Hingle_Cringleberry

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls is the deck's engine and finisher: group-slug permanents make each opponent lose life every turn, letting Valgavoth grow and replace itself. The primary plan is to resolve recurring pain enchantments (Sulfuric Vortex, Roiling Vortex, Manabarbs, Ankh of Mishra), then ride a huge flying commander to commander damage. Secondary paths include spell-damage creatures (Vial Smasher, The Lord of Pain, Kaervek) and a compact Underworld Breach + Lion's Eye Diamond + Wheel/Sheoldred loop that drains all opponents. Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Ojer Axonil double the burn. The deck has no hidden commander; it wins through attrition or a tutor-assisted combo.
