Elves 2 by UTA

Format: Commander

Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elf/Faerie tribal deck helmed by Maralen, Fae Ascendant, built to flood the board with cheap tribal bodies and convert that density into free spells. Maralen exiles the top two cards of an opponent's library on each Elf/Faerie ETB, then lets you cast one of those exiled spells for free each turn with mana value equal to or less than your tribal count. The deck wins primarily through combat swarm backed by a dense lord package (Elvish Archdruid, Leaf-Crowned Visionary, Scion of Oona, Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor), with Lathril, Blade of the Elves' tap-ten-Elves drain as a secondary finisher and Maralen's stolen spells as a wildcard. Token engines like Bitterblossom, Elvish Warmaster, and Wolverine Riders accelerate the count, while a strong draw suite (Beast Whisperer, Kindred Discovery, Guardian Project) keeps the hand full.
