Deck overview

This Mardu artifact deck is commanded by Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter. It blends aristocrats sacrifice strategies with artifact token engines. The deck accelerates in the early game with cheap mana rocks and artifact lands. It leverages Jan Jansen's haste to turn noncreature artifacts into Construct tokens and creature artifacts into Treasures. The primary win condition is a compact loop using Clock of Omens and Liquimetal Coating or Liquimetal Torque to turn Jan Jansen into an artifact. This generates infinite tapped Treasures, infinite Construct creatures, and infinite death/sacrifice triggers to drain the table with Marionette Apprentice, Blood Artist, or Mirkwood Bats. If the combo is interrupted, the deck transitions into broad token beatdown with Draconic Visitor, Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, and Magda, Brazen Outlaw Dragon tutoring.
