Deck overview

This is an Esper draw-drain control deck helmed by Queza, Augur of Agonies. The core plan is to flood the board with card-draw engines, wheels, and draw doublers, then convert every card drawn into life loss via Queza and supporting drain pieces such as Psychosis Crawler, Cliffhaven Vampire, Marauding Blight-Priest, and Starscape Cleric. Secondary win paths include decking with Laboratory Maniac, massive one-shot drains off Peer into the Abyss or Damnable Pact, and locked-in engines like Lich's Mastery or Marina Vendrell's Grimoire. The deck plays a reactive mid-game, using a dense counter and removal suite to protect its engines before exploding with a wheel or X-draw spell. Queza herself is efficient at three mana and provides the primary life-gain trigger that feeds the pingers, but many finishers live entirely in the 99.
