Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Rakdos storm deck commanded by Rowan, Scion of War. The primary strategy converts life loss into massive generic mana discounts on black and red spells. By combining repeatable life-loss sinks like Immolating Souleater, Hex Parasite, and Blood Celebrant with Rowan's tap ability, the deck reduces the cost of expensive draw spells and tutors down to their colored pips. On Turn 3, the deck resolves Peer into the Abyss or Behold the Beyond to draw the library or assemble a combo package. The primary win condition loops Searing Touch with Buyback alongside Storm-Kiln Artist, generating infinite mana and dealing unbounded damage to the entire table in a single turn. Backup lines leverage Hoarding Broodlord and Saw in Half or K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth to execute wins independently of the commander.
