Maralen, Fae Ascendant Optimized by MikeMilling11

Format: Commander

Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a Sultai turbo combo deck that wins with Thassa's Oracle plus Demonic Consultation, Tainted Pact, or Doomsday. Maralen, Fae Ascendant does not combo; she provides steady value by exiling opponents' libraries when Elves or Faeries enter and casting one exiled spell free each turn based on your board count. Secondary wins give resilience: Food Chain with Eternal Scourge and Misthollow Griffin makes infinite creature mana, Chain of Smog with Witherbloom Apprentice drains the table, and Orcish Bowmasters with Peer into the Abyss kills a player who draws. Hullbreaker Horror with Mana Vault and Sol Ring creates infinite mana and bounce. Thassa's Oracle acts as the hidden commander; tutors find it consistently.
