Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Zombie tribal and graveyard aristocrats strategy led by Gisa and Geralf. The primary game plan revolves around filling the graveyard through self-mill creatures like Stitcher's Supplier and Mire Triton, then using the commander and recursion engines to replay Zombie threats each turn. In the midgame, the deck accumulates critical mass with lords such as Death Baron and Undead Warchief or token generators like Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver and Diregraf Colossus. It aims to close the game around Turn 6 or 7 by resolving game-ending mass reanimation spells like Living Death or Zombie Apocalypse, or by dropping Gray Merchant of Asphodel for massive life drain. The deck can also convert an assembled army into lethal flying combat damage using Wonder. While resilient to single-target removal due to its graveyard recursion, the strategy remains vulnerable to targeted graveyard exile and countermagic on its expensive sorceries.
