Format: Commander

Commander: Kwain, Itinerant Meddler

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kwain, Itinerant Meddler leads a group-hug stax deck that forces everyone to draw. You use Kwain, Temple Bell, Howling Mine, Kami of the Crescent Moon and Folio of Fancies to fill hands, then punish or win off that draw. Primary wins are Approach of the Second Sun, decking with Jace, Wielder of Mysteries or Laboratory Maniac, and draining with Psychosis Crawler, Scrawling Crawler, Iron Maiden and Ebony Owl Netsuke. Forced Fruition and Teferi's Puzzle Box lock opponents while Smothering Tithe and Rhystic Study profit. Kwain is your repeatable draw engine, not a combo piece, and the deck runs many redundant draw effects.
