Format: Commander

Commander: Liesa, Shroud of Dusk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Liesa, Shroud of Dusk leads a midrange Orzhov drain-control deck that punishes every spell cast and every card drawn with incidental life loss. The primary plan is to assemble a tax engine-Liesa, Kambal, Mai, and The Frightful Four-alongside draw-forcing pieces like Scrawling Crawler, Keen Duelist, and Sheoldred, then keep the board clear with mass removal until Exsanguinate or Debt to the Deathless, often doubled by Wound Reflection, ends the game. The commander is not double-faced; the closest hidden commander is the transform Sorin of House Markov, but the deck only supports him lightly. The deck plays a long, attrition-based game rather than a combo finish.
