Format: Commander

Commander: Y'shtola, Night's Blessed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Esper control/drain deck built around Y'shtola, Night's Blessed: cast noncreature spells with mana value 3 or more to deal 2 damage to each opponent and gain 2 life. The deck stabilizes with removal, counters, and pillow-fort enchantments, then converts every life-gain event into additional life loss via Sanguine Bond, Vito, and Cliffhaven Vampire. Wound Reflection doubles end-step loss, and Exsanguinate is the usual closer. Wizard tokens and the Alisaie/Alphinaud pair add extra triggers and card advantage. It is a grindy engine deck that wins through cumulative drain rather than combat, with no infinite combo registered. No hidden commander: all other legendaries support the main engine.
