Deck overview

This mono-red tribal deck is piloted by Lathliss, Dragon Queen, focusing on aggressive mana acceleration, cost reduction, and mid-game aerial beatdown. By leveraging a high density of low-cost Changelings and mid-curve Dragons, the deck rapidly establishes an overwhelming flying army by turning every subsequent creature cast into a 5/5 Dragon token. While the deck boasts immense explosive damage potential through damage multipliers like Terror of Mount Velus and Crucible of Fire, its reliance on a high-cost commander without built-in protection makes it vulnerable to well-timed spot removal and board wipes. The game plan focuses on establishing early ramp, landing Lathliss on Turn 5, and executing a multi-turn aerial alpha strike to close out games by Turn 8.
