Bad Deeds

Format: Commander

Commander: Shilgengar, Sire of Famine

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Shilgengar, Sire of Famine is a mid-speed Orzhov reanimator that converts creature deaths into Blood tokens and then into a mass graveyard resurrection. The primary plan is to fill the graveyard with drain triggers and Angels, put an Angel on the battlefield, sacrifice it to Shilgengar, and use the Blood burst to return every creature at once. Exalted Sunborn is the hidden engine, doubling Blood token production so a single Angel sacrifice fuels the activation. Secondary paths include classic reanimation spells, Vampire token pressure from Clavileno and Elenda, and an Angel beatdown package led by Lyra and Avacyn. The build is resilient in proportion to its recursion density, but remains dependent on its commander for the explosive finish.
