Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir tempo aggro strategy centered on Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. It deploys unblockable one-drop creatures on Turn 1 to enable commander ninjutsu on Turn 2, circumventing the commander tax and establishing immediate card advantage. The deck leverages topdeck manipulation like Brainstorm, Brainsurge, and Ponder to place high-mana-value spells such as Temporal Trespass, Enter the Infinite, and Dig Through Time on top of the library. When ninjas deal combat damage, Yuriko reveals these cards to drain all three opponents simultaneously while drawing into interactive spells. A deep suite of low-cost countermagic and efficient removal protects attackers and disrupts opposing win attempts. The deck closes games around Turn 6 through rapid, cumulative burn damage while maintaining a full hand of defensive responses.
