Deck overview

The Serpent Society is a golgari deathtouch-poison deck built around Fynn, the Fangbearer as its hidden commander. The primary plan is to drop Fynn early, attack with cheap deathtouch creatures, and convert each unblocked hit into two poison counters until every opponent reaches ten. The commander itself accelerates poison with its five-poison ward cost and turns dying deathtouch creatures into forced sacrifices. Secondary paths use direct one-poison spells and proliferate to shave off counters, plus recursive sacrifice engines and a Hornet Queen/Overrun wave as a fallback. The deck is low to the ground, grinds well through death triggers, and wins through combat rather than combo.
