Deck overview

This deck is a casual Izzet spellslinger aggro build centered around Adeliz, the Cinder Wind. The strategy focuses on deploying low-mana Wizard creatures in the opening turns, casting Adeliz on Turn 3, and attacking with flying and prowess-boosted creatures. By casting cheap instants, sorceries, and burn spells, the deck triggers Adeliz's ability to give all friendly Wizards +1/+1 until end of turn. The deck is built primarily from draft commons and uncommons, featuring a high land count of 44 lands to ensure consistent land drops. However, it lacks dedicated mana acceleration, efficient tutors, and heavy card draw engines, which makes it rely heavily on top-decking during the mid-to-late game. Interaction is provided through targeted burn spells, bounce effects, and situational counterspells that double as prowess triggers. While capable of fast chip damage, it closes games slowly through traditional combat steps.
