Torta Pounding Hippos by user7647988

Format: Commander

Commander: Phelddagrif

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a classic Bant group hug and pillowfort strategy centered around Phelddagrif. Early turns focus on accelerating mana, deploying symmetrical draw engines like Dictate of Kruphix and Kami of the Crescent Moon, and establishing defensive barriers such as Propaganda, Baird, Steward of Argive, and Norn's Annex to dissuade attacks. While opponents commit to the board with gifted resources and hippo tokens, the deck prepares its game-ending payoffs. The primary win condition weaponizes donated creatures through Suture Priest life loss, Dingus Staff creature death triggers combined with sweepers like Fumigate, or infinite untap loops using Intruder Alarm to drain opponents instantly.
