Commander: Killian, Decisive Mentor

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Killian, Decisive Mentor is the engine of a WB Aura-voltron tempo deck: his ETB taps and goads an opponent's creature, and his attack trigger converts each Aura-clad attacker into extra cards. The primary plan is to develop an enchantress suite, load Killian (or a hidden-commander backup, Killian, Ink Duelist) with cheap Auras, then one-shot players with Eldrazi Conscription or a Herald of Amity alpha strike. Secondary paths are a goad/tax lock that keeps opponents from attacking and lets Eriette of the Charmed Apple and Grim Guardian drain all opponents, plus Angel/Pegasus tokens from Sigil of the Empty Throne and Archon of Sun's Grace. Without a direct combo, the deck wins incrementally through attack triggers, drain, and recursion.
