Deck overview

Shiko and Narset, Unified leads a dynamic Jeskai spellslinger deck that converts spell velocity into card advantage, board presence, and direct burn. The deck accelerates through early two-mana artifacts, establishing its commander on Turn 3 or 4. Once assembled, the deck leverages the Flurry mechanic to copy targeted spells or draw cards whenever a second spell is cast each turn. A dense suite of low-cost cantrips fuels Magecraft and Prowess engines, generating widespread damage via Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Coruscation Mage, or creating massive token swarms through Young Pyromancer, Third Path Iconoclast, and Monastery Mentor. Storm-Kiln Artist and Veyran, Voice of Duality provide the mana and trigger acceleration needed to sustain explosive storm turns. The deck defends itself with versatile counterspells, redirection effects, and flexible removal, ultimately closing games around Turn 7 with a devastating flurry of burn or an amplified combat strike.
