Format: Commander

Commander: Doran, Besieged by Time

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck leverages high-toughness creatures to generate overwhelming board presence and combat damage. Led by Doran, Besieged by Time, your spells cost less and your attackers scale dynamically based on the difference between their power and toughness. Secondary toughness-to-damage enablers like Assault Formation, Doran, the Siege Tower, and Huatli, the Sun's Heart ensure continuous pressure even if your commander is removed. You win primarily through wide or evasive combat attacks augmented by toughness pump effects like Tower Defense and Unnatural Growth. Alternate win paths include direct life drain using Jaws of Defeat, life setting via Tree of Perdition, and asymmetric power-based board wipes.
