Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Landfall engine helmed by The Necrobloom. It focuses on accumulating land drops, recurring fetchlands via dredge, and amassing wide armies of Plant, Insect, and Zombie tokens. The deck uses low-cost mana dorks and land ramp to cast its commander on Turn 3 or 4, quickly triggering landfall payoffs. Once established, cards like Scute Swarm, Felidar Retreat, and Avenger of Zendikar turn multiple land plays into massive token boards. Win conditions rely on decisive combat overruns with Craterhoof Behemoth, Beastmaster Ascension, or March of the World Ooze, backed by token-based aristocrat drain from Mirkwood Bats and Corpse Knight. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to graveyard loops, the deck remains vulnerable to board wipes and instant-speed stack interaction.
