Deck overview

This deck uses Korvold, Fae-Cursed King as both its sacrifice outlet trigger and its card engine. Fetch lands, Treasures, creature tokens, and recursive creatures become expendable permanents. Sacrifice outlets such as Viscera Seer, Goblin Bombardment, and Phyrexian Altar turn those permanents into selection, damage, or mana, while Mayhem Devil, Mirkwood Bats, Nadier's Nightblade, and Marionette Apprentice convert the activity into pressure. The deck can normally establish a usable Korvold engine around turn 6 and begin presenting a growing flying threat. Its main weakness is the lack of a compact, tutored finish. Chandra's Ignition can be devastating with a large Korvold, but the required creature size, spell, mana, and protection do not arrive together often enough to define the ordinary clock. The deck is therefore a value-oriented sacrifice deck rather than a cEDH combo deck or a dedicated stax strategy.
