Thranduil combos to infinity by zeboss

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil is a Sultai elf-combo-toolbox deck that treats the graveyard as a second hand. Early elves ramp while draw/mill spells stock the graveyard. Once Thranduil, the Elvenking lands, every activated ability of every buried Elf is available to it, turning one commander into a mana engine, token factory, pump suite, and sacrifice drain. Lathril and Jarad function as hidden commanders: Lathril provides token/drain backup and Jarad converts huge pumped creatures into life loss. The deck can win by huge Exsanguinate, Genesis Wave combat, Lathril's ten-tap drain, or Simic Ascendancy. Its main fragility is that the entire engine is concentrated in Thranduil and the graveyard.
