Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is a draw-and-token multiplication commander in Azorius. The primary plan is to resolve Bard, then use copy effects such as Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Spark Double to stack multiple Bards while triggering "draw your second card" token producers like Homunculus Horde and Mischievous Mystic. The functional hidden commander is a copied Bard; a second Bard redoubles draw and token replacement effects. A secondary path is the alternate win via Triskaidekaphile, Jace, or Laboratory Maniac, though these are lightly supported. Most games end by converting explosive draw triggers into an overwhelming army of Horde tokens and Faeries, with copy spells as force multipliers.
