Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Group Hug Attrition strategy commanded by The Second Doctor and Vislor Turlough. It uses symmetrical card draw and pillowfort tools to protect the pilot while filling opponents' hands. Once opponents hold full hands, the deck turns their resources into a liability using punishing attrition pieces such as Price of Knowledge, Vislor Turlough, Fate Unraveler, and Psychosis Crawler. Defensive cards like Orzhov Advokist, Combat Calligrapher, and Nils, Discipline Enforcer deter incoming attacks by taxing aggression or redirecting combat toward other players. Because the deck gives opponents generous card advantage without imposing hard resource locks, it relies on well-timed defensive instants to survive. The strategy closes games over multiple turn cycles as opponents take recurring damage from their hand sizes, supplemented by secondary mill through Psychic Corrosion or mass reanimation.
