Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is piloted by Clavileño, First of the Blessed, focusing on a resilient tribal aristocrats and lifegain strategy. The primary game plan curves out with aggressive 1- and 2-mana Vampires, using Clavileño to transform them into Demon threats that replace themselves with a card and a 4/3 flying Vampire Demon token upon death. This creates a self-replenishing aerial army that applies relentless combat pressure while deterring board wipes. As the board widens, the deck leverages drain engines like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Sanctum Seeker, supercharged by damage multipliers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz to rapidly deplete opponents' life totals. A secondary win condition exists via the deterministic two-card infinite combo of Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. Backed by versatile Orzhov spot removal, stack interaction, and targeted protection, the deck reliably closes games on Turn 7 through combat damage and unavoidable life loss.
