Squirrel Nuts by bmm134

Format: Commander

Commander: Ancient Tomb and The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a blisteringly fast mono-green combo deck helmed by The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl. The primary plan is to deploy a dense web of mana-producing creatures and artifact acceleration, then tutor for one of several compact infinite combos - most often Earthcraft + Squirrel Nest - to create an arbitrarily large army of Squirrel tokens. From there, a haste enabler (Concordant Crossroads or Finale of Devastation) converts the tokens into a one-turn kill, or the deck pivots to infinite mana via Umbral Mantle on a mana dork and chains Staff of Domination into Walking Ballista. The commander's own activated ability serves as a secondary token generator when the primary line is disrupted. With a critical mass of premium green tutors and an absurdly low curve (1.89 average CMC without lands), the deck can threaten a win by turn four or five in the median game.
