Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Selesnya Angel ramp-and-beatdown deck built around Sigarda, Host of Herons. The plan is to use a dense package of mana dorks, land-search spells, and land enchantments to power out high-end Angels quickly, then protect the board with hexproof, indestructible, and sacrifice-fodder insurance before closing through flying combat or a huge Genesis Wave. The commander is a sturdy hexproof threat who blanks sacrifice effects, but the deck does not lean on her as an engine: the 99 is full of redundancies like Sigarda, Font of Blessings, Shalai, Voice of Plenty, and Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Secondary paths include entwining Tooth and Nail into an unbeatable pair and melding Gisela, the Broken Blade with Bruna, the Fading Light into a soft lock that blanks cheap spells. This is an inevitability deck, not a combo deck.
