Deck overview

This is a Dimir Horror tribal mill deck helmed by Umbris, Fear Manifest. The plan is to flood the board with Horrors and Nightmares, using Umbris's ETB trigger to exile chunks of each opponent's library while he balloons from every card sitting in exile. Supporting mill engines-Consuming Aberration, Captain N'ghathrod, Nemesis of Reason, The Mindskinner, Zellix, Sanity Flayer, and big one-shot mill spells-strip libraries in parallel, and the deck finishes either by decking the table or by swinging a massive Umbris (or sacrificing him to Essence Harvest/Rite of Consumption). Secondary axes include attrition via Toxrill, the Corrosive, theft with Mind Flayer and Elder Brain, and graveyard lockdown with Leyline of the Void and the Ashioks. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through sustained mill pressure and combat.
