Mono Black by Fox_inthe_box7

Format: Commander

Commander: Maha, Its Feathers Night

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Mono-black attrition deck that makes every opponent's creature base toughness 1 with Maha, Its Feathers Night, then resolves small -1/-1 effects, Pestilence activations, or Black Sun's Zenith to wipe boards. Death triggers from Blood Artist, Vein Ripper, Syr Konrad, and Massacre Girl, Known Killer convert each kill into life loss, card draw, or stolen creatures. Late game, Cabal Coffers plus Crypt Ghast and Black Market produce explosive black mana to fire Exsanguinate or activate Pestilence enough times to kill all opponents in one turn. The deck can also fall back on Vorpal Sword for a quick three-swing kill with Maha. If Maha is unavailable, standalone sweepers and drain spells keep the deck competitive, though slower. The implicit hidden commander is Pestilence, which becomes a one-sided reset with Maha and the main mana dump for a single-turn finish.
