Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Izzet artifact-combo engine designed to accelerate mana rapidly, tutor required combo pieces, and execute a decisive same-turn kill on Turn 4. Led by Jackdaw, the deck leverages dense artifact synergies to flood the board with mana rocks, Treasures, and utility permanents. While Jackdaw serves as an explosive mid-game card draw engine upon dealing combat damage, the primary win route does not require the commander. Instead, the deck aims to assemble compact game-ending combos such as Dualcaster Mage with Ghostly Flicker to generate infinite mana, or Underworld Breach with Lion's Eye Diamond to storm through the library. An elite suite of free and efficient countermagic—including Deflecting Swat, Fierce Guardianship, and Swan Song—protects the critical win turn against opposing interaction.
