Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Rakdos Stompy engine centered on Rakdos, Lord of Riots. The strategy leverages efficient early-game life-loss enablers, such as Creeping Bloodsucker, Stormfist Crusader, and Flame Rift, to meet Rakdos's casting restriction on Turn 3 or 4. Once Rakdos attacks or an opponent loses life, creature spells receive an enormous generic mana discount equal to the total life lost across the table. This discount enables explosive post-combat turns where titanic Eldrazi like Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, Sire of Seven Deaths, and Desolation Twin enter the battlefield for little to no mana. Haste enablers like Fervor and Enduring Courage, alongside damage amplifiers like Terror of the Peaks and Warstorm Surge, convert these massive creature drops into rapid table-wide lethality. The deck also includes strong backup lines through Neheb, the Eternal and Heartless Hidetsugu combined with Bloodletter of Aclazotz.
